The Rootze by Wamaco team is made up of five Moms who know how to coordinate work needs with family needs, support Wamaco customers with their business needs, and organize their work schedules to assist in the smooth running of Wamaco’ s business. Balance is the key, and this team understands the balance it takes to help customers with their needs while ensuring Wamaco meets its contractual obligations and business demands. This team not only sees what needs to be done on a daily basis but anticipates what demands will present themselves in the future. Wamaco would not be thriving today if it were not for the understanding and support of these wonderful ladies.
Wanda
Wanda is majority owner of Wamaco and has fulfilled her lifetime desire to own a business. Under her leadership, Wamaco has fine-tuned its array of product offerings to specifically meet the needs of retailers. She brings a history of financial and business acumen from the management positions she has held in Kamloops, BC and Winnipeg, MB. She is tenacious and steadfast, which has been the elixir in making this company not only survive but thrive. Her organization and management skills have navigated Wamaco through some rough waters and with the help of her great team she has turned Wamaco into a supportive, helpful, strong company.
Jennifer
Jennifer is minority owner of Wamaco and has thankfully joined the company to work Wanda—her mom. Jennifer has an academic background with a Masters of Community Health which lends itself to the critical thinking, managing and resolution that her position needs. Wearing a number of hats in the organization requires the need to prioritize and categorize daily demands. She navigates through complex, rigorous, time-sensitive situations to understand and resolve issues, and then designs structures that work for our team. Her thoroughness has been a pillar of the foundation of Wamaco’s success and has nearly eradicated picking and packing errors in the shipping department.
Rochelle
Rochelle showed her spontaneity the moment she was interviewed. She took on the dubious task of marketing Wamaco by reworking the website, scheduling sales campaigns, and setting up a marketing strategy. She has worked tirelessly with the new digital marketing strategy which includes developing a completely new ecommerce website and adding other digital marketing tools. Her sense of humor and gregarious outlook has not been dampened under the weight of all this development and she is considered the party planner of the team. She welcomes customers with a wonderfully infectious smile as she helps them navigate through their product needs. The team would not be as rich as it is without her.
